My name is Cassidy Cobb
and I'm passionate about creative storytelling through writing, video, and social media.
I have known I wanted to be a broadcaster since I was very young. Knowing that for so long has helped push me so hard in my work. I am currently a sports anchor/reporter at WWTV/WWUP - 9&10 News in Cadillac, MI. During my time with 9&10, I have covered high school state championships, college football games, the AuSable River Canoe marathon, and put together some longer form pieces. I work with CMU Football as their in-game on field host.
Before heading up to northern Michigan, I was a weekend morning producer at WXMI - Fox 17 in Grand Rapids, my hometown. There, I produced the 4 hour long weekend morning shows, coordinated guests, and also got to put together packages, did a live-shot and helped out on Friday nights with The Blitz.
I am a graduate of Central Michigan University. While I was there, I anchored for the sports show on campus, Sports Central, for 2 years. I started my own sports radio talk show, and had two different internships. I also worked for CMU Athletics and was camera operator for ESPN3 and Chippewa Sports Network.
I am one of the hardest working people you will meet. I am always looking for new opportunities and new projects. I am constantly trying to better myself in every way. I'm always seeking out ways to learn and perfect my craft.
